About the event

Dana Point Women’s Club (DPWC) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its third annual Cocktails for Cause on Wednesday, April 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Aventura Sailing Club in Dana Point Harbor, 24707 Dana Dr, Dana Point, CA.

Cocktails for a Cause once again supports Orange County Unity Way Orange County’s SparkPoint OC Program, assisting vulnerable South Orange County residents on their journey towards financial stability, working with participants over a 12-month period, helping them to increase income, reduce debt, improve credit and build assets.

The fun-filled evening will start with passed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and live entertainment by Mike Hamilton (former lead guitarist with Kenny Loggins), followed by a delicious dinner, silent and live auctions, a raffle and charity wine pull. Complimentary parking passes will be distributed at the event. Tickets are $75 each, of which $32 is tax-deductible. Register on the Club’s website at danapointwomensclub.org/events.

Unable to attend the event but wish to support our fundraising efforts? Simply click “Donate” on the Club’s website. In the "purpose for donation" field, please enter "SparkPoint OC". 100% of your donation will go directly to SparkPoint South Orange County to prevent homelessness and help empower struggling local families.

Dana Point Women’s Club has been a vital part of the local community since 1951. It’s 105 members have “fun in philanthropy”, sharing their resources, time and talents to serve women, children and families in the South Orange County community, focusing their programs in the areas of homelessness prevention and poverty, and promoting literacy and education.

The Club's newly updated Community House event venue is available for meeting, party and event rentals by contacting the Community House Director via email or phoning 949-284-6415. Event proceeds help maintain and preserve the building and support DPWC’s philanthropic programs.
